My Bio
Salutations fellow human beings! My name is Darrolyn. I'm 20, I work at a natural food store as a buyer/cashier/stockier. Other than organic delicious food I am passionate about art and fashion. I am a female bodied person whose gender fluctuates constantly. I design and make corsets and dresses but I would love to join a nudist colony someday.
I am inspired by the moment where people show who they really are and let their guard down. I am inspired by dreams, my mother (the strongest person I know), Annie Sprinkle, Diamanda Galas, Lydia Lunch, and anyone who as firm unwavering opinions- even if I don't necessarily agree with them. I believe in freeing your inhibitions, radical honesty, and making your own traditions. I believe that love is never lost, just misplaced occasionally.
I dabble in fashion, photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, hula hooping, singing, writing, love making, tattooing, cooking, working, piercing, laughing, taking in stray animals, vintage shopping, swimming, and observing.

Back In Action

Finally able to update this journal thing... Okay so since last time I've fully recovered from my small car accident and throat surgery, took a short trip for North Carolina to visit family and a friend, and my mam-ma is visiting from Minnesota. Somewhere between then and now my battery pack charger has gone missing. So although I do have more things I'm dying to post I don't have good enough photos, just shitty resolution camera pictures. When I'm not running around at work I'm still squeezing in time to paint and I have some old and sculptures I'll (hopefully) put up asap.

For those of you that care, I will not be putting anything new up for a while as I was just recently in a car accident so I'm still getting better.
Also I will be having surgery on my throat soon and have to stay in bed for at least two weeks to prevent bleeding. I'm still working as much as I can without straining too hard so hopefully when I'm better there will be plenty of new things to put up. Love to you all!

It's a hodge-podge. A melting pot of photos, beautiful people, street fashion, my fashion, art and above all.. a passion for beauty.
Moments of beauty are what I live for. Time is so fleeting, and these moments are often overlooked. Maybe you didn't notice how the sun filtering through your hair that day made your smile so much more enchanting. Maybe only I find filth beautiful (doubtful). But beauty is in the eye of the beholder so maybe what I'm really trying to say, what this is really all about- is wanting you to see things how I see them.
I want you to see the beauty in suffering because it makes the times of joy that much more pleasur
